Coach operators and Groups
For many years we have been welcoming coach operators and group organisers on a regular basis. Thanks to your input we have added a whole package of exciting additional options in recent years.
Arriving in our car park at Ravenglass there is free, dedicated parking for at least three coaches on a given day.
Level and close access to the trains is also true of the gift shop, The Turntable café and toilet facilities. The upstairs seating area of the cafe can be reserved for groups with lift access to the upper floor.
Our guards volunteer to assist passengers to their reserved seats.
At our terminus station of Dalegarth the Eskdale Room can be reserved for lunches, afternoon teas and more, while passengers benefit from all the advantages the new visitor centre affords. Again access is easy and level to the upper floor of the centre, Fellbites Eatery, the Scafell Gift Shop and the loos. A ramped walkway to the Eskdale Room is available for those not wanting to use the stairs.
Drivers and tour leaders travel on the trains free and enjoy refreshments of their choice too!
We currently offer the following packages, but would be delighted to tailor an outing specific to your requirements …
